Cleat Apple Intelligence
Ask questions and rewrite the clipboard with Apple's on-device model inside Cleat: fix grammar, summarize, pull key points, change the tone. Nothing leaves the Mac.
Cleat uses Apple’s Foundation Models framework, the on-device language model behind Apple Intelligence. It needs macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on, on a Mac that supports it. When those conditions are not met, the Ask row explains why.
Ask
Type ask (or ai) and a question. Return sends it to the model and the answer streams into the palette. Paste Answer puts it in the app you came from; Copy puts it on the clipboard.
Clipboard tools
These appear in the root palette and work on whatever is on the clipboard:

The result replaces the clipboard and is pasted where you were.
What is sent where
Nothing. The model runs on the Mac. Cleat has no server and no API key. If Apple Intelligence is off, these features are off too.
Shortcuts
Ask Apple Intelligence is one of Cleat’s App Intents, so a Shortcut can send a prompt and use the answer.
