Shortcuts and App Shortcuts
Run your Shortcuts library from Cleat, plus the App Shortcuts other apps publish to Spotlight, and drive Cleat from Siri and Shortcuts with its eleven App Intents.
Your Shortcuts library
Type sc and a name, or pick Shortcuts in the palette. Everything in the Shortcuts app is listed and Return runs it.
App Shortcuts
Apps that adopt App Intents publish shortcuts to Spotlight, like a timer app’s “Start Sleep Timer”. Cleat reads those and lists them next to the app.
Apple gives third-party apps no way to run another app’s App Shortcut directly. The first time you run one from Cleat, Cleat builds a one-action shortcut around it, signs it, and hands it to the Shortcuts app, which asks you to add it. Cleat watches the library for a minute and runs the shortcut by itself the moment it is added, so that first run is one click too. After that it runs from Cleat like any other shortcut.
Cleat’s own actions are not in this list: inside the palette they are the native rows (ask, timer, task, remind me, clipboard, translate), so nothing needs importing to use them.
Cleat in Shortcuts, Spotlight and Siri
Cleat declares its own App Intents, so these appear as actions in the Shortcuts app and, on macOS 26, in Spotlight:

Start Timer, Add Task and Add Reminder run without opening the palette, so a Shortcut can chain them: a “Focus” shortcut that starts a 25 minute timer and adds a task, say. Search Clipboard History returns text, so the next action can use it.
