Cleat Translation
Cleat translates through Apple's on-device Translation framework. Type tr and the text, pick a language, paste the result back. 38 languages, offline once installed.
Type tr and the text. Cleat detects the source language and translates into your default target, showing the result under the field with Paste Translation and Copy rows.

tr good morning → Buenos días (if Spanish is your default)Target language
Add to french, to german and so on after the text, or set the default in Settings › General › Translate to. The setting lists every language Apple’s Translation framework supports, 38 at the time of writing.
Language packs
macOS downloads a language the first time it is needed. If a pair is not installed yet, macOS shows its own download prompt; after that the pair works offline.
Translate Clipboard
The root palette has a Translate Clipboard command that translates whatever is on the clipboard into your default language and pastes it.
URL scheme
cleat://translate?q=text opens the palette with that text in Translate, for use from Shortcuts and scripts.
